Real Madrid announce record income for 2009-10 season

Real Madrid have announced an increase of 8.6 per cent of gross revenue from last year to €442.3 million (£363.5m) for the 2009-10 season.

The Spanish giants declared on their official website on Wednesday the financial findings of last season and also stated that their net debt has significantly decreased by €82.1m (£67.4m) from last year to €244.6m (£201m).
Net assets for the club increased 12.2% and reached €219.7m (£180.6m), earnings before taxes reached €31m (£25.4m) - an increase of 24.2% - and net profit increased 11.5% to €24m (£19.7m).
